Taiki Hori is an artist who was born in Gifu prefecture in 1965 and is currently based in Aichi prefecture. He depicts human faces, animals, and plants through oil painting and watercolor while producing mixed media using drawing techniques. His interest lies in the beauty of simple lines that are reminiscent of those drawn by children and the allure and implications of unfinished states. This is similar to the process of sketching fragments of memories that exist in us all.
Hori studied oil paintings at Aichi University of the Arts, and he currently runs an art school in Aichi prefecture for children while producing his own works of art.
